Dr. Moamen Samy Syaj
CEO & Co-founder
Serving as the CEO and Co-founder of the Elsewedy Evidence Center, Dr. Syaj drives both the operational and clinical research strategies of the facility. Affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at Zagazig University and USMLE Step 1 certified, he is a specialized medical researcher who bridges the gap between clinical excellence and academic research. With a core clinical focus on stroke pathophysiology, neurology, gastroenterology (GIT), and headache management, his scholarly contributions include impactful research on the prevalence of neurological conditions, such as the impact of headaches on the academic and social lives of university students in Egypt.
Dr. Omar Rageh
Methodology Lead
Dr. Rageh serves as the Methodology Lead and a Lead Researcher at the center. He is currently a Neurology Resident affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at Tanta University. A USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 certified clinician, he demonstrates advanced proficiency in emergency protocols and surgical techniques, blending international medical standards with acute clinical management. A prolific contributor to international research, his portfolio features high-impact systematic reviews on Parkinson’s disease and clinical toxicology. His research also heavily focuses on acute ischemic stroke interventions, exploring endovascular therapies, thrombectomy outcomes, and the efficacy of advanced imaging techniques like Flat-Detector CT.
Dr. Abdelrahman M. Elettreby
Statistical Analysis Lead
Dr. Elettreby is a dedicated medical researcher affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at Mansoura University. Specializing primarily in Internal Medicine and Cardiology, he has a prolific track record in conducting comprehensive systematic reviews and meta-analyses. His notable scholarly contributions encompass cardiovascular interventions—such as evaluating outcomes in transcatheter aortic valve replacements and intravascular lithotripsy for calcified coronary artery disease—as well as assessing the efficacy and safety of broad pharmacological therapies.
Dr. Ahmed Abdullah Abo Elnaga

Associated with Mansoura University Hospitals and the Faculty of Medicine at Mansoura University, Dr. Abo Elnaga is a dedicated clinical researcher whose work spans a broad spectrum of general medicine and surgical outcomes. He has contributed to significant systemic reviews, notably investigating the association between hemorrhagic stroke risk and liver enzyme levels, as well as evaluating analgesic efficacies in surgical procedures such as nephrectomies.

Dr. Mohamed F. Elsewedy
Co-founder & Head of Elsewedy Medical Group
As the CEO and Head of the Elsewedy Medical Group, Dr. Elsewedy is an orthopedic surgeon and visionary healthcare leader. He holds an MBBCh from Al-Azhar University, a Master’s degree in Orthopedic Surgery from Ain Shams University, and a Diploma in Pediatric Surgery from the National Institute. Additionally, he holds a Diploma in Hospital Management from Sadat Academy. Under his leadership, the group manages a vast network of premier healthcare facilities, including Al Fouad Hospital (Hadaeq El Qobbah), Elsewedy Specialized Clinics (Dar Al Fouad), Al-Marwa Hospital, Al Fouad Orthopedic Surgery Center, Sharaf Hospital, Al Yosr Clinics, Al Serag Al Mounir Hospital, and Swaid Medical Center. As the Co-founder of the Elsewedy Evidence Center, his clinical foundation drives the strategic vision that bridges the gap between everyday clinical practice and top-tier medical research, fostering a culture of innovation and evidence-based excellence.
